Our Workshop
A small floor, a fixed number of benches. Nothing is outsourced, so nothing leaves without being seen by the hands that shaped it.

Craftsmanship
Seven stages, none of them hurried. This is the soul of Ardevae — the part of the work you feel long before you can name it.
The Making
Very little machinery, a great deal of patience. Hurried work shows, so we don't hurry.

A small floor, a fixed number of benches. Nothing is outsourced, so nothing leaves without being seen by the hands that shaped it.

Boards are chosen individually, air-dried, then rested again in the workshop until they stop moving. The grain decides much of the design.

Mortise and tenon, dovetail, draw-bore peg. Joints are cut to hold for generations without relying on glue to do the thinking.

Edges are broken by hand, not machine. A surface is only finished when it feels right under a palm in low light.

Oil, cure, burnish — repeated over weeks. The result is open-grained and warm, a finish that ages instead of failing.

Every drawer, hinge and pull is worked a hundred times before approval. Anything uncertain goes back to the bench.

Blanket-wrapped, delivered and installed by our own team. We place the piece, level it, and leave the room clean.
