Why We Reject Mass Production
Volume forces compromise — thinner sections, faster finishes, joints designed for a machine rather than a lifetime. We would rather make fewer pieces properly than many pieces adequately.
Furniture That Ages Beautifully
Solid timber, open-grain oil finishes, full-grain leather, real stone. These materials record use instead of hiding it. In ten years the surface should look owned, not worn out.
Luxury Through Restraint
Luxury is not ornament. It is a well-judged proportion, an edge broken by hand, a drawer that closes with the right weight. If a detail is not doing work, it is removed.

Snow, stone and cedar hold their shape for lifetimes. That sense of time — unhurried, indifferent to fashion — is the standard we measure our work against.

Craft Before Scale
We grow only as fast as we can train hands. The number of benches limits the number of commissions, and we accept that limit deliberately.
